This sweet family is one of my returning families that I truly enjoy visiting with and watching their family grow. Sweet baby girl arrived earlier this year when the weather was still too nippy for a whole outdoor session with a newborn. So instead we planned to do an indoor session in the living room. I packed my tiny car with my backdrop stand, lighting, backdrop, beanbag for baby, stools, blankets and anything else I thought I may need during their session.

For the backdrop I chose one that would work the entire session and had a floor attached to it so I didn't have to pack ONE MORE THING.  My only regret is not having a steamer to get all the wrinkles out before we started! (add that to my never ending list of MUST HAVE things for the business)

I was greeted with big smiles and helping hands upon arrival and one very excited big brother. Over the years C has really warmed up to me and is so stinking sweet to photograph. He showed me his new baby sister and wasted no time with wanting his photo taken.

Mom planned matching pajamas for the kids, the cutest tutu outfit, and the cutest props to include in their photos.

C was so gentle with baby A and even helped during the session when he wasn't in front of the camera.

Newborn photography is not something I specialize in so when it comes to posing newborns, I don't. We do what baby wants to do whether that is curl into a butterball or stretch out much like baby A did during the session.

Pop-Up Studio Sessions is not something I advertise about but I do offer it to clients who are willing to let me take over a room in their home. Whether it be an empty spare bedroom, the basement
